The truth is she set up a high powered fan directly below the hoop over a series of 5 hours to allow the ball to be perfectly suspended. The net is actually held to the ground with over 300 lengths of 20# test monofiliment fishing line. The city block had to be temporarily evacuated to so that a pile of old tires could be set ablaze to filter out the sun and provide the adequate shade. all in all, I think it worked out well.
